The wind blows softly through the fields, swirling the autumn leaves in its cool caress. A girl patiently waits on the sloping road out of her village's entrance. She is not expecting anyone, but considers her own journey and where it may take her if she chose to depart. One she loves walked this road not so long ago. She hopes that she may see him again to apologise; her love took hold too quickly, where it should be left to grow and blossom at its own pace.   
She sees a figure in the distance. She stops her heart from carrying her towards him, and instead idly strokes the fencepost next to her. Her Hope's Temptation- Part 6

She jumped out of her trance-like state and looked at the man running across the plaza, towards an attractive girl with blonde hair sat on the fountain’s rim. She thought he might have been shouting to her; she quickly pretended not to have reacted and looked back to her hands, resting forlornly in her lap, wrapped in her gloves. She was good at not being seen.   
"I love you! I love you, I love you!” the girl cooed to her man, smothering him with her arms. “How could you be so generous? I love you!" Her voice was shrill and brimming with sickly adoration. T Hope's Temptation- Part 5

"What the hell did you say?"   
He jumped out of his slumber. He looked round quickly to get his bearings. Behind him were a man and a woman, deep in a heated argument. They had been too busy shouting to notice the boy move so he stayed still, trying not to draw attention to himself. He didn't know how long he'd managed to resist awakening.   
"I hate you! I hate you, I hate you! How dare you be so callous? I loved you!" A girl's voice, shrill and bursting with pain. The boy winced with disappointment. Nobody should be made to feel that.

She buried her face in the pillow, muffling the sound of her sobs with its warm comfort, her tears slowly soaking into the soft material. She remembered every moment she spent with him.   
It had been an hour or two- they were slowly walking along the river side, watching swans gracefully pass by as their conversation carried into the soothing autumn breeze.   
"Have you come far?" she asked, trying to hide her embarrassed smile.   
The boy tilted his head. "Quite far. I've been travelling for a long time, so I can't really remember where I first started."

Nazreal Revisited

Well, I've made some long-awaited changes to the Nazreal site. Well, not changes as such, but revisions to the Prologue and Chapter One. So everything up here is now different, haha... bweh -_______-; Me wonders if I should put them up again. I'm still planning to put up Hope's Temptation. I can't remember offhand what I've done with the revised version, though.

This ergonomic keyboard is very comfortable, but for whatever reason, it's difficult to capitalise the 'i' when I'm typing... I. As in, "I did something". Eh, whatever >.>;

Still, I'm currently addicted to a million different Inu Yasha tracks, which are amazing ^____________^ unfortunately now I need a bigger iPod to hold all my music, but I've had an offer for my old one already, so that's nice.

Sending off to another agent tomorrow, with luck. I need to construct a Writer's CV though. Erk, it's going to be sparse, as I've not actually written anything yet. But at least I get to list the Honourable Mention I got in the Pirates! writing competition. At the moment that's probably my only accolade, mayhaps...

Wow, thank you ^________^ That really means a lot to me, and I'm still very determined to make it get somewhere one way or another. I've actually sent off to a publisher recently, although it'll likely be another ten weeks before I hear anything back. If you've not already had a search, Macmillan New Writing is a great potential opportunity for unpublished authors to get their work seen.

Ah, but his mortal enemy is The Great Original-Language Version Fanatic Ninja, whose infinitely long rant Ninjutsu techniques can dent The Censor Ninja's self-esteem and make his popularity wane. His attacks won't be half as effective after a seeing-to from them. They're most effective in large numbers, armed with Ninja Blogs.
